The linen we use is French and organic linen.
Why linen?
Flax is a plant fiber that comes from a culture requiring little fertilizer and pesticides. Its natural quality makes it a hypoallergenic, insulating material and gives it a thermal regulator property.
Flax is grown for the most part in France, which makes it the main producer in Europe. It is grown mainly in Picardy, Normandy, Brittany and Pas-de-Calais. The transformation processes have evolved: they respect the environment, and do not produce waste but by-products such as paper pulp, flakes, seeds, linseed oil, etc...
It is for all these reasons that the house has decided to specialize since 1999 in this material to make its creations.
